What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone number, state, address and profile information.
• Verification documents from dealers: ID, showroom photo, and CAC certificate if provided.
• Listing details and photos you submit.
• Buyer enquiry details: your name, phone number, which car you asked about and when you plan to buy.
• Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, and cookies needed for login and security.

Why we use it

• To create and verify seller accounts (including confirming your email address by link and your phone number by SMS code) and review listings.
• To connect buyers and sellers, and to record enquiries so commission can be tracked.
• To keep the marketplace safe and prevent fraud.
• To contact you about your account, listings and enquiries.

Who sees it

Sellers’ business details and listings are public on the site. Verification documents are stored privately and seen only by authorised E-Complice staff. Buyer enquiries go to us on WhatsApp, and we may pass serious enquiries to the seller. We use service providers such as hosting and email, and we may disclose data when the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep data while your account is active and for as long as needed for business, legal and dispute purposes, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@e-compliceautos.com. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online system is completely secure.

Children

This site is for people aged 18 and over.
